I always get confused here; there seem to be many similar looking flowers. I would say it's a cranesbill or another geranium, but maybe an early mallow?

Thank you Andy. I know what you mean, they do look a little like mallows, but they are geraniums in my garden. There are so many different types that I couldn't begin to give these a name.

This is terrific capture Rosa..........the detail and colours in the flower are just exquisite and I love the light and the out-of-focus background. The pièce de résistance for me is that tiny silhouetted spider captured perfectly in the light!
