Beautiful old buildings and lovely wisteria round the door and window. I like the composition of the school photo. The way the path leads the eye round to the buildings by way of the lovely gateway and tree. The boy with the dog is sweet. The nearest stepping stones look quite straightforward but the two nearer the far bank look a bit more of a challenge. Reminds me of crossing streams on rocks when I was hillwalking. I was a bit of a wimp.

The wisteria was slightly past its best Jean but always nice to see. I was tempted to cross the river on the stones...but thought better of it! My age in my head is slightly younger than in reality ;-) Thank you for your kind comments. The boy and dog were enjoying themselves.

Three more beautiful images from this lovely village (which I note is an anagram of may surname).

The main image is my fave of the three..........I love the look of the buildings and the wisteria round the door and windows. The detail you've captured is excellent.

In PiP1 I especially like the vibrant colours of the trees and the detail in that beautiful school building. PiP2 is delightful............it's great to see the young lad enjoying himself with his dog.

Oh yes it is an anagram of your name :) The wisteria was just past its best unfortunately. The building belongs to the school, and is opposite the part of the school in the second picture.
The dog was having a great time in the water and lots of giggles from the little boy.

A delightful series of three Rosa, it is hard to pick a favourite ~ I like them all ~ I have never walked around Bruton. I used to ride my bicycle through the outskirts when cycling between Shaftesbury and Stratton on the Fosse ~ All the very best ~ Nick

I lived there from 1972-75 and I am still finding places I never knew! It has become very arty and a popular place to live now. That's a long cycle ride Nick! Good to see more bikes on the roads again now. I hope it continues after the lock-down, in a safe way.
