The 1300 to Medstead (4) - 3 November 2019

I always enjoy my visits to the Mid Hants Railway, a leader in the field of railway preservation but I have seen the BR Standard Class 9F 2-10-0 92212 many times. Today, as light drizzle threatened the lunchtime air at Alresford, I took a few atmosphere shots of the locomotive waiting to start the 1300 service to Medstead. Major bridge works in the Alton area have forced the curtailment of MHR services at Medstead for much of the year and continue, late, at the time of posting.
