Ted Fio Rito (Fiorito) and His Orchestra were first to record “(Lookie, Lookie, Lookie) Here Comes Cookie” (Marc Gordon – Mike Revel) in January, 1935. The song is from the movie “Love In Bloom”. Vocals were handled by Muzzy (Maurice) Marcellino and the Debutantes
Glen Gray and the Casa Loma Orchestra reached number seven with “(Lookie, Lookie, Lookie) Here Comes Cookie” in 1935. Trombonist and banjo player Pee Wee (Walter) Hunt is the singer. Pee Wee was a co-founder of the Casa Loma Orchestra.
