Made In America
The scene was the Davis House Child Advocacy Center fundraiser “Rock the House Music Jam” at The Franklin Theatre in 2018 where co-writer Bobby Pinson sang “Made In America” (Bobby Pinson – Toby Keith – Gregory Reeves) showing sincere patriotism and making a buck or two.
The opening track on Toby Keith’s 2011 top ten album “Clancy’s Tavern” became the single “Made In América”. According to “Taste Of Country” Bobby Pinson and Reeves started talking about buying American-made merchandise to support the country. After writing part of the song, they thought it sounded like something Keith would record, so Pinson took what he had finished to Keith, who helped him complete the song.” To date, this is Toby’s last number chart topper.
