I don't know why you couldn't add it to the group...........mine was accepted OK and there seems to be lots of others there that were posted today. i seem to remember some restrictions on stuff being posted too early a while back. I've just copied this from the group rules, but not sure if it applies to you:

"1. one photo a week
2. Post late Thursday night, (not before 23.30 h your Time Zone) or Friday (Your time zone). NOT SATURDAY to WEDNESDAY.

PLEASE NOTE PHOTOS ADDED AFTER THE WEEKLY STOP SIGN AND THOSE POSTED OUT OF TIME ON THURSDAY NIGHT "YOUR LOCAL TIME" WILL SIMPLY BE REMOVED."

Seems extraordinarily strict, Keith.
I post mine on Thursday evening. It can be anytime from 10 pm to 1 am on Friday.
And only one a week? That's also new. Just occasionally, such as with this week's HFF, I might post two.
It seems such a harsh blanket restriction for such a very minor infringement.
My working week means that I can't always follow these rules even though I try my best.
I'm sure these changes were imposed with the best of intentions but they don't work for me.

As far I know, Steve Paxton opens the group when he posts on Thursday evening Aussie time and it's closed again when the stop-sign is posted on Saturday. This photo is in the group so it must have worked or was this a second attempt?
The one photo rule is a recommendation but the actual posting limit is higher as you can see from the many double or triple postings, you wouldn't have been able to post your second photo otherwise;-)

Thanks, Keith. Yes it worked later on! I don't think i've ever seen a stop sign. Perhaps because I've already gone and posted my HANWE shot and long forgot about HFF by then!
Anyway, so Steve Paxton is to blame!!! It's all those night-time shots that has got him muddled up with his days!

Well, Steve is also acting in the name of all admins to help reign in the former chaos with Friday photos posted on Mondays, Tuesdays etc..;-) For the users who go through the group photo by photo to comment on every one this makes life easier.
