Finished products of a master silversmith

Workshop of Gilberto Jara in Chordeleg, Ecuador. Mr. Jara has worked with silver for over 70 years. He starts with pieces of silver, then melts them down into rods. He pulls the rods through a machine that he created to stretch the silver into ropes no thicker than spaghetti which he crimps and makes into filigree jewelry. AIMG 0123B

Building Boston

It is unusual for construction to occur at night, but at this site, these workers were acting together with the crane operator to catch and attach the panel to the side of the building. AIMG 2373

A face in the orb (Explored)

Instructions on making an orb in Photoshop Elements can be found at www.ipernity.com/group/836261/discuss/164481 . I started with the photograph located at www.ipernity.com/doc/304817/33299583 . I then cropped the image into a square. I selected Filter>Distort>Polar Coordinates>Polar to Rectangular from the Filter Menu located at the top of the Photoshop Elements screen. I then clicked on Image>Rotate>Flip Vertical from the Image Menu at the top of the screen. . Then, from the Filter Menu at the top of the screen, I chose Filter>Distort>Polar Coordinates>Rectangular to Polar. To see what happens when you do not crop an image, see www.ipernity.com/doc/304817/33321921 CIMG 1412
