This past week has been a good one. We had notice that we're being given a second pay rise from November; it's not a massive rise however every little helps. They're also going to bring forward our pay review to the spring, so hopefully that'll mean more money too, earlier in the year than the usual August date. Wer möchte nicht gerne in ferne Länder reisen, durch die Savanne streifen, wilde Tiere fotografieren oder atemberaubende Landschaften? Aber man kann und will ja nicht immer Fernreisen übernehmen. Ich werde in diesem Jahr (2022) und wahrscheinlich auch im nächsten Jahr keine überseeischen Reisen unternehmen. This week has been a good food week. I love to cook, and I'm a foodie, and we always menu-plan, so I can plan food shopping and the budget. Recently, we've been having vegan/vegetarian meals 4 times a week, then meat meals or fish the other 3. These past 2 days have been 'uncomfortable' to say the least. Monday, I was scheduled to work a 4-hour shift. It was warm work. After 3.5 hours, I overheard the supervisor asking people if they wanted to leave early as orders were down. I jumped at that, and left as soon as my pick was completed. Hello All, Just so you are aware as to why I haven't posted or visited. We went to Norfolk last Friday (2nd July), staying until Wednesday. Went to the coast on Saturday, heavy duty gardening for Liz om Sunday, then out for a lovely meal in Cringleford on Sunday evening.
