Low Tide

Low Tide
Taken at Langstone Harbour, Havant.

The wreck has probably been there for a century. Its history is unknown, but is it is likely to be the remains of a cargo vessel that would have transported milled goods from the Old Mill, which is just out of shot on the left.

Berny, trester88, Stephan Fey, Fred Fouarge and 20 other people have particularly liked this photo

The secrets of the sea revealed at low tide. In San Vicente, have discovered a wreck buried in the sand of which there was no evidence. All the best, Anton.

Love the various layers in your photo! The slowly decaying wreck gives a home to seaweed:-)

Indeed. Low tide nearly always shows something interesting, but sadly no treasure this time. Thanks for your visit and comments Mikus!

The stories of men and voyages this old wreck could tell Keith,
Shame its past is unknown, but it makes for a wonderful image,
Nice composition and a lovely shot!

Keith Burton club has replied to Roger (Grisly) club
It would definitely. have had a busy and eventful life, sailing round the coast. It was just one of many though, so I'm not surprised its history is unknown.

Glad you like the shot Roger..............and thanks for your lovely comments as always.
