The textured table is actually an old plastic tablecloth with a wood pattern on it, which we bought years ago for barbecues and the like. It's a bit tattered and stained now, but it works well for stuff like this.

J'adore les pâtisseries faites avec ce genre de pâte..Au fait, keith, il faut que je te raconte une anecdote. Je t'avais dit que tout les samedis je mange un scotch eggs que mon épouse achète au marché. Tu m'avais expliqué que c'était une spécialité Ecossaise. Samedi ,c'est moi qui ai acheté mon scotch eggs. J'ai demandé au gars s'il était ecossais. il m'a répondu, "non, je suis Anglais". J'espére que je n'ai pas crée d'incident diplomatique.
