I expect The Turf Hotel do well from this service Keith. Good to see a picture from lovely Topsham again. It is definitely somewhere I want to visit again this year.

I think you're probably right Rosa.........and the place you board in Topsham is right outside a pair of pubs, so everyone does OK I think

The single fare when we visited was only a fiver with 8 pounds for a return trip........much cheaper than a taxi I should think (and better than a longish drive).

Wow it's been many years since I last went on the water taxi from Topsham to the Turk pub. I used to live around 5 miles from there for many years. Also the times of coming or going were constantly changing, as you had to wait for the level of the sea to come up enough to be able to use the ferry.

A ride out on this lovely, little boat would be nice.....as long as there were no waves. I would be seasick at the drop of a hat! Lovely little craft to look at though.
