Aren't these beast just adorable? I never get tired of seeing them and as you say, there are more and more around nowadays, all far away from Scotland. As Fred says -great lighting too.

What a beauty! Despite those huge horns and their large stature, they have such a good temperament, and always look so pretty! I'm not surprised they are found all over the world! A gorgeous portrait Keith.

Always docile but beautiful and stubborn animals, we have met many a highland road block that can take a while to move,
Superb portrait of a lovely beast Keith.

A great portrait of this handsome beastie. They are very placid but nevertheless those horns do put you off arguing with them.

Wonderful! I like the furry beasts:-) The first time I saw them in the Swiss Alps I was a bit surprised but they seem to like it there.

Me too...........they're really beautiful and they seem to be popular all over the world. Glad you like it Gudrun.

I went to Scotland in 2010 with some friends to take photos. We were there a week and never saw any of these at all. When I got home I spotted one in a field at a farm shop about 2 miles away from my house :-))

Lovely portrait of a very attractive breed. We have them here in New Zealand also. Couldn't have spread much further, could they?
