Grey Squirrel

Grey Squirrel
Taken yesterday in West Dean Gardens Nr Chichester, West Sussex. This is quite a heavy crop as it was a little far away from me.

Better viewed large. Thanks for looking!

Oh well caught Keith! The snowdrops and crocuses look great and the squirrel completes the picture beautifully :-))

It does Wilfried.............but these are private gardens set in a very sheltered location and very well tended. Spring tends to arrive here a little earlier than some places.

Haha, just like our garden ones. But the neighbours are having a full house renovation with noise & people around so no squirrel's at the moment -nor many birds. Great catch here.

Have a good WE. Herb

ik vind die grijze eekhoorntjes eens wat anders dan die bruine klasse opname Keith en wat een voorjaarstuin vol kleur -als je dat ziet mag je toch niet aan oorlog denken-geweldige opname groeten

Superb! I would love to see a squirrel. I wish we had them over here. The flowers in the grass are the icing on the cake. Altogether a lovely picture!

The grey is sometimes considered vermin here............they are an invasive species and are responsible for our native Red Squirrels almost being extinct. That's not they're fault though and I love them.

I get up to five or six in my garden most days..........stealing from the bird feeders and generally keeping us amused.

SO CUTE!!! I adore these little guys! Have you ever had the pleasure (um maybe not pleasure but lol...) of having a squirrel chuck acorns at you from above, whilst yelling squirrelly obscenities at you? Seriously! :D :D This has happened more than once that a squirrel will drop nuts and cones from above with the intent of hitting me! I thought it must be a coincidence but looking online, the little buggers are purposeful! HOW RUDE! :D :D This is one very RUDE creature that's barking foul language at me! Hahahahahah!!! Thanks Janet. I have around 6 regulars that visit my garden........they steal the bird food, pull down the seed containers, chase the birds and generally cause chaos.......but they're so much fun to watch that I can forgive them all that..!!

Another lovely link...........it doesn't look at all pleased with you!
