Taken in my garden. I have a small patch put to one side to try and grow wild flowers, pretty unsuccessfully so far. These have come up nicely though.

Just the one looks so good against the muted background Keith.
Your wild patch might be a pretty unsuccessful, but your photography certainly isn't!!
Superb shot!

Schitterende opname,Keith,schitterende bokeh.
Heb jij de bloem geplukt en mee naar binnen genomen?
Bij mij in de tuin staan ze ook, maar daar waait het altijd (lol)

Thanks Frans...........I did pick it, but this was taken outside in my garden. I find the lawn usually makes a lovely background. This flower spreads very quickly and picking a tiny piece won't be noticed at all.

I prefer not to pick them if I can help it though :-)

Another great flower close-up my friend. Your Zuiko lens certainly does a nice job of that, just like my old Zuko lenses did too. Yep -full marks -again.

Cheers, Herb

Thanks Herb. I was using a little Olympus Stylus 1s camera this time. It's fantastic to carry around if the main focus of a trip is not photography. It fits in a large jacket pocket. 28-300 (35mm equiv) and f2.8 throughout the zoom. If I sit in the garden I often keep it nearby, just in case.

Glad you like it.

Letztes Jahr hatte ich viele Vergißmeinnicht im Garten, aber sie sind dann wohl vertrocknet. Dieses Jahr habe ich keine. Um so mehr freut mich dieser Anblick!

How funny: in German this flower has the same name: "Vergissmeinnicht!" ("Vergiss mich nicht").
This macro is overwhelming. The small blue blossoms glow bright against the dark background.

Thanks for letting me know that..........some wild flowers have many different names - a lot of them are unique to the places they grow.

I'm very pleased that you like this one Susanne!

Thanks for stopping by................they've taken nearly two years to flower in my garden. I hope they'll now come back year after year.
