le problème c'est qu'on situe le débat toujours au niveau des symptômes, et sur le plan humanitaire (c'est voulu ! c'est du chantage à l'humanisme, et un rideau de fumée !), mais jamais sur le plan des CAUSES !
Car quand-même LA première question est POURQUOI tous ces gens en sont réduits à quitter leurs pays ? Quelles sont les causes, ? Et qui a créé les conditions de ces causes ? et qui en PROFITE ? .....
Et puis chez nous aussi, quelles sont les conséquences de cet afflux ? (le NAIRU vous connaissez ? les étudiants des hautes écoles de commerce et de gestion connaissent eux !!) et qui en PROFITE ?
Tout ça "on" évite bien soigneusement d'en parler ....

Actually, much of the media in the U.S. does examine the role of economics, corruption, and law in the home countries, and how the U.S., prior to Trump, was trying (admittedly weakly) to resolve that and thus reduce the need to migrate. Admittedly, though, we seldom look at the long picture of the role of U.S. business in the 1950's and 1960's in forcing the reorganization of social structure in those countries, in a search for cheap labor.
