Acadian Lines 115 at Kentville - 11 Sep 1992 (Ref 177-32)
Friday 11 September 1992 (1048) - Acadian Lines 115, a 1989 MCI MC9 Crusader Special, seen at Kentville terminal when working the 0700 Yarmouth to Halifax Limited Stop trip 22 – approx 210 miles in 5 hours 33 minutes. The terminal was at the rear of old Cornwallis Inn, a prestigious railway owned hotel built in 1929 that was considered one of the most architecturally beautiful hotels in Canada in its time. The hotel closed in 1973 and was later converted to apartments with commercial office and retail space on the lower floors facing Main Street. (Ref 177-32)
