Acadian Lines 919 at Sydney (Nova Scotia) - 8 Sep 1992 (Ref 176-04)

Tuesday 8 September 1992 (approx. 1400) – The driver of Acadian Lines 919 returns to the building at the company’s terminal in Sydney (Nova Scotia) during the loading of parcels traffic for the 1415 ‘all stops’ service from to Halifax trip 54 – a journey of approx. 270 miles taking 7 hours 35 minutes. The coach was an MCI MC8 Crusader, a secondhand acquisition which still carried the livery of a previous owner. Parcel carriage is a lucrative business for the inter-city coaches and the volume for this trip was quite substantial. (Ref 176-04)
