Blick in das Sony-Center Berlin an einem sonnigen Vormittag im Frühling. Die Dachkonstruktion stellt eine spektakuläre Ingenieurleistung dar. Ein aufgefächertes Zeltdach aus Stoffbahnen ist mit Zugankern an einem Stahlring befestigt, der auf den umliegenden Gebäuden aufliegt. Es soll eines der Wahrzeichen Japans, den heiligen Berg Fujisan, symbolisieren. Einen Blick auf die gigantische Dachkonstruktion aus der Froschperspektive zeigt das Bild unten.

A fanned tent roof made of panels is attached with tie rods on a steel ring, which rests on the surrounding buildings.
