Dear Peggy, we normally drive by car to a parking area near the starting point of the fixed rope route. Whereas "near" menas 10 minutes to hike up to 3 hours. Sometimes we set a mountain bike at the end point before. But most of the time it's not possible. Therefore we normally have to hike down from the summit. For example this via ferrata (Via Ferrata Fausto Susatti): www.bergsteigen.com/klettersteig/trentino-suedtirol/gardasee-berge/via-ferrata-fausto-susatti
1:30 hrs forward run + 2:30 hrs of climbing + 1:30 hrs return path = 5:30 hrs in total (for well trained people, without breaks).

A typical vacation day may have the following schedule:
7:00 early breakfast at the hotel in Torbole
7:30 driving to Biacesa
8:00 parking the car, hiking to the starting point
12:00 achieving the summit
15:00 back in Riva del Garda for a wonderful Italian Icecream or an Aperol
(everything as early as possible to avoid the high temperature in the afternoon)
