Bergfex club has replied to bonsai59 clubBetr. Seilschaft: Nachträglich kann man gut kritisieren. Aber unser Fitness-Coach, der bei der Bergrettung ist, hat gesagt: 1) geht man nicht als Seilschaft auf so steiles Blankeis (>40 Grad Gefälle), sondern einzeln mit speziellen Eispickeln. 2) sichert man sich jeweils in Bergsteigermanier ab, indem man einen sog. Stand baut (d.h. Eisbohrhaken setzt, an denen man sich mit Seilen sichert. Wenn man dann abrutscht, bleibt man im Seil hängen) 3) macht man solche Touren eigentlich gar nicht mehr so spät im Jahr, wenn die Gletscher blank sind.
Auf Firnschnee (>1 Jahr alter Schnee, der die Spätsommerphase "überlebt" hat und deshalb gut verfestigt ist) wäre die Tour machbar gewesen, aber so nicht!
Ihren Leichtsinn haben die Verunfallten nicht nut tragischerweise mit dem Leben bezahlt, sondern auch noch einen sehr gefährlichen Einsatz der Bergrettung nötig gemacht. Denn die Wetterlage war 4) für solche Touren (und die Rettung) gar nicht geeignet!

Bergfex club has replied to Tanja - Loughcrew clubJa, da bin ich ungewollt und unerwartet mal Cover-Boy geworden. Hätt ich mir nie träumen lassen, und wird wohl auch nicht wieder vorkommen. Ist dennoch eine nette Erfahrung!
Was die aktuelle Aufregung in der Community angeht: So was ist völlig normal. Bei Veränderungen gibt es immer Unsicherheiten, Fragen und Aufgeregtheiten. Auch Missverständnisse und vorschnelle Überreaktionen. Aber ich bin mir sicher, dass viele von denen, die sich gerade mal zurückziehen, auch wiederkommen, wenn Ipernity wieder in ruhigeren Fahrwassern ist. Es gibt ja keine wirklich gute Alternative mehr im Desktop-Segment.
Aber es macht Spass- man sieht es.

Seinerzeit hatte ich das Bild nur zur Illustration dieses Anlasses verwendet. Diesmal veröffentliche ich eine ganze Serie von dem Klettersteig. Da möchte ich, dass das Haupt-Motiv im Fotostrom dabei ist, und nicht irgendwo an anderer Stelle versprengt sein Dasein fristet.
