Leaving these unloved rooms
The dark is welcome to,
Leaving these dark blue
Shadowy walls

Leaving softly, slowly through
Unlocked doors, and there!
Toys beyond repair
Torturing the floor

Leaving empty every chair
Because it must be right
To forfeit "if" and "might"
Then hurry off

Leaving before daylight
Toppless across the bed,
Even before my head
Gives up its dreams.

Deixar estes mal amados quartos,
A escuridão é bem-vinda para tal,
Deixar estas paredes sombrias
De azul escuro

Partir suavemente, lentamente através
Das portas abertas, e lá!,
Brinquedos sem reparação
Atormentam o chão

Perder-me
Apressadamente
