Iceland, Hjálmar Guðmundsson Monument on the Road 939
There is a Memorial in Honour of Hjálmar Guðmundsson from Berufirði, which took the initiative to build the road via Öxi. The Memorial is a shield with inscription, attached to a stone. The stone is positioned not far from Folaldafoss (which means Foal Waterfall).
