Salvador Dalí desert is situated between Salar de Chalviri and Laguna Verde in SW Bolivia. This surreal looking high altitude desert lies at ca. 4400m within Eduardo Avaroa National Park, continuing outside the park as Siloli desert.

It looks like a lot of places in my part of the world! (It's a lot higher, but you can't tell that from the photo ;) Great take with the vanishing point.

Thanks a lot! I suppose it's rather similar geologically. Some geologists even have found a supervolcano (Uturunco) which is not very far from here...
