My first try at a little planet, inset the panorama it was made from. Shot from the top of Isla Incahuasi, an island in the middle of Uyuni salt flats.

Mein erster "Planeten"-Versuch, das Ursprungs-Panorama ist im PiP. Aufgenommen vom höchsten Punkt der Isla Incahuasi im Uyuni-Salzsee.

Are these rocks in the middle of a snowfield, Gudrun? It looks like an autumn dried flower arrangement on a perfectly thrown pottery plate. How do you do this?

I've just read the description - better late than never. the snow field is in fact salt flats. ;-)

I found out how to do this when trying out orbs for TSC;-) This page is helpful:

You don't have to use Panoramas, you can also crop a normal photo to a wide format (2:1) and then follow the steps in the link.

Many thanks, Paul! Most of mine didn't work either;-) I did crop to make the sides fit and also made adjustments to make the colours even, one side initially was darker than the other.
