It's in the National Forest it's areas of woodland many being planted on old mining and industrial sites overall it covers about 200sq. miles, it starts about 3 miles from me, up to now 9 million trees have been planted

The place would be knee deep in twitchers if there was such a thing !! the reply to Marie-claire explains where it is, it's pleasant there if the wind is in the right direction it's close to the M1 I live about 2 miles from it but some days you have the constant background noise from it
