Suq and gathering place, Doha, Qatar, 1967
I think this is probably the last image for my Doha, Qatar series. Scanning prints that were made from old colour slides certainly brought back a lot of memories from our six-month stay in Doha, 1966-67. I didn't take a lot of photos while we were there, as I was more concerned with respecting the customs and beliefs of the local people. I never photographed the women. It seems like we must have gone out on either one day or maybe two and taken many of these posted shots, probably just before it was time to leave that part of the world.
