SRN4 'The Princess Anne' - 22 August 2020
The 2018 scrapping on site of sister (or aunt) craft 'The Princess Margaret' left 'The Princess Anne', the centrepiece of the Hovercraft Museum collection, as the sole surviving SRN4. The decision on scrapping was intended to release resource and funding for the restoration of 'The Princess Anne'. This view shows the parts which have been repainted but by no means all of the machine has received attention - perhaps, in part, because of the pandemic - and there is a lot of work to do.
