On Shed at Ropley (2) - 15 October 2019
An October Tuesday was a day of rest for the locomotives of the Mid Hants Railway but there was still plenty of interest in the cautious sunshine at Ropley. Shot across the light, this picture is, I think, quite atmospheric. In the foreground, 0-6-0PT No. 1 'Thomas' smokes prodigiously alongside Class 47 47579 'James Nightall GC'. Various locomotives in the background include 50027 'Lion'.
