Yes indeed Steve, we always enjoy this trip, we love Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge areas. But this year it was shadowed by the accident we had the day we set out. thank you dear Steve,

Hello Rosa, the lifts just go to the peak of that mountain, then there is the turn/ or switch to come back down when you like, after looking around and enjoying the view. at least I do not think it goes on over the top, NO it doesn't as one goes and comes on this side. We have not been on the lift, my husband does not like these things :))

Yes back home, and now dealing with the business of settling this claim about our accident!

Hello Peter. SO glad then that you didn't have to see Gatlinburg almost burned !! Massive fires came sooo close to the city of Gatlinburg last year, and its aftermath can be seen in some of my shots, as mentioned in one of my replies, I think to Steve D. Im glad you came by for a look at this series Peter, I will post more when time. Getting ready for "Turkey Day" next Thursday!! :))
