Photos for Pam - 100 + photos, mainly of Cornwall, because as Pam herself once told me; "That is where my heart is!"
In support of Pam J in her recovery programmes and a sincere wish for a quick and total return to normality!

Adjacent photo is from just behind this rock and shows that I tried to get to the top but from the back route. I achieved it once (before I had a camera or cameraphone), but haven't found the scrambling route since.

Definitely posted on Panoramio and possibly also on ipernity but as I have now run out of new Cornwall material, repeats will be a certainty. That, or no Cornwall uploads until my next Cornwall visit.

Summer never seemed to end. It lasted until the end of October. There was a severe drought that year and the autumn rains never came, This was taken on October 1, but it was still a searingly hot summer's day!
I may have posted this before, but maybe not. I to…

Sierra de La Cabrera on a foggy day in December, 2011. Today would have been the same, blanket fog throughout central Spain with only the mountain peaks peeping through. I was tempted when I heard the forecast last night but I just had too much to do today, even though it was a public holiday!

Taken from the remains of the landward ramparts of the neolithic coastal fort, known as Crane Castle. The seaward ramparts have long since vanished into the sea.

La Sierra de La Cabrera.
I enjoyed my Canon digital which a kind Pano member sent to me after I dropped my beloved Nokia N95 in a bog in Cornwall. Sadly it gave up accepting charge from any charger after about 9 months. Many of my best countryside, night and sunrise / sunset shots were taken with it. I still have it and will find a Canon service centre to get it fixed when I can summon up the spondooliks!
Shot taken in late September but in both 2011 and 2012, I distinctly recall that summer lasted well into November!

This would have made a superb course for 4 people of mushroom on toast, gently fried in butter and with chopped parsley, on sourdough toast maybe. But I couldn't pick it, it looked so at peace here. I left it alone.
