Photos for Pam - 100 + photos, mainly of Cornwall, because as Pam herself once told me; "That is where my heart is!"
In support of Pam J in her recovery programmes and a sincere wish for a quick and total return to normality!

I might just have posted this twice or thrice before. But so what; I like it!

This could be one of several attractive villages we visited two or three summers ago on a two week touring holiday but since Google stole my notes as well as photos, I can't now remember so I will choose one and say it is La Alberca (and I think I'm right!)
OK. No apologies. Another one from my favourite wa…

It is a non-native pest as it crowds out the native species but it is so pretty and bright that it is easy to forgive ... almost!
Porthcadjack for Pam.
A favourite scene of mine.

I know I've posted this on Pano and certainly here before too but I like it and so here it is again! Pico de La Miel, Holm oaks, Sierra de La Cabrera.

Taken from the summit of Cancho de La Bola, Sierra de La Cabrera. Always worth the effort to scramble up here! Best on full screen.

I liked the cloud formations that day. The sharp, strong and sudden downpour hit the town of Grampound, in mid Cornwall, as I recall.
What I miss.

North Cliffs, Basset Cove, Cornwall.
At low tide you can walk straight across from here and keep to the left hand side. This was a bit late for that but I had already crossed from the other side.

Another fine summer's day (although there would seem to be a light shower at sea). Cornwall doesn't experience climate, only weather; but I've been lucky enough over the years ...

Sierra de La Cabrera on a very hot day. The Griffon vultures' favourite home is that guano stained boulder top centre.

Many of us (and soon most if not all of us I suspect) will miss spring this year. Let us all share our best spring shots from past seasons to cheer us all up!
Thank you and stay safe!.

Hello!

Spring last year in the Sierra.
Sorry, I've not been active. My laptop hard drive died and I have to rely for everything, including giving classes, on my phone. I don't find using a phone keyboard all that easy and I can't edit easily, if at all. So I will visit infrequently.
I hope you all stay very, very safe. Bye for now,
Andy
