Lines. Metro station Moncloa, Madrid

The Madrid metro system calls itself 'One of the best in the world' and for once the marketing hype reflects reality.
As I am continually rushing between classes all over Madrid, I need to be confident that I will never have to wait more than 7 minutes for a train (4 in the rush hour). As I am only paid for the actual hours I teach, travel time is money lost and so a speedy and efficient system serves me well!

That's when I'm busy. When classes dry up, as they do for 2 and a half months in summer, I'm left twiddling my thumbs and existing on charity. Not good!
