Trains had left in each direction taking the waiting masses with them and the people who had just got off had departed. I had missed my train so I had a few minutes to kill!
The station looks modern and I suppose it is but it is over 20 years old (opened on 24/06/1998). It is on the line to the airport. Before then it was buses or taxis and a cause of much frustration. I know this as I used the airport often in the 80s when I visited my sister and her (Spanish) family in Madrid!
