Mount Rundle
These photos were taken from our hotel window. We are on our way to Edmonton and are traveling through the Canadian Rockies. We went through Kootenay National Park yesterday ending up in the town of Banff and in Banff National Park where we had booked a hotel. We usually sleep in the back of our car but the weather is too cold and wintry for that. The motel we are staying in looks out over the town with Mount Rundle across the way. The snow was blowing off the peak when we arrived and continued to to so until it was too dark to see.

Have a nice weekend.
I am short of words for this grandiose picture !
I have been to Banff - a splendid place.
HANWE.

My car sleeping days are over. Once, after spending a night in a tiny Toyota Tercel rental car when we arrived in town too late to get a hotel room, my husband woke up covered in bruises resulting from the hard seat and the steering wheel. I imagine that an SUV would be far more comfortable, but a motel has them both beat.
