Glodwick Lows in the winter.

Glodwick Lows in the winter.
Whilst out exploring this area that I knew as a teenager, I came across a few new benches. Far too cold and wet to sit and relax on but this shot gives a general impression of the area. It was not far from here that I saw deer and a nice silver birch tree. In the distance you can see our Hartshead Pike monument. – The snow has all gone now! PiP's

A great view from up there Herb, but like you, I wouldn't sit down quite yet!
I also like the two PiPs. The birch in snow is beautiful, as is the monument, which looks as high on the hill as Glastonbury Tor!

Haha, not much chance of that Rosa. I did like this walk in the snow. Our Hartshed pike can look quite impressive. Glad you enjoyed the series.

A very beautiful winter scene Herb. The snow makes it even more attractive and you have captured a wonderful view from up there. It must have been quite a climb - and nowhere to sit for a breather!!! A delightful series of images. Well done.
