Memories of Emerald Lake

Memories of Emerald Lake
Reminded of my travels here in the Canadian Rockies just the other night, I was tempted to release another shot of this magnificent lake. It is seated high in the YoHo national Park and believe me, our two hour stay besides this lake was all too short. The wooden buildings provides some accommodation and food for those lucky enough to stay longer.
Enjoy large.

You cant ever wish for than a shot like this. not unless it had stars over the top but you cant have every thing. I would be over the moon shots like this.

Hi George, indeed they were spectacular. It had almost all gone into the realms of time until being re-kindled on Friday night. I am so happy that we can re-live our past trips via video and photos on our weekly DVD holiday sessions. Sad! you may say but for us sheer happiness! Happy that you joined us with this one.

Steve, most people can only dream of ever seeing places like this for real. I know how lucky I am. The original has less contrast but this seemed to look better here on Ipernity. Fortunately, here in the UK, especially in our Lake district and Scotland we have spectacular lake and mountain scenes too. In that, I am doubly blessed. ~ Herb
