Battle for the beach!

Battle for the beach!
Enjoy with me these pieces of drift-wood battling it out for dominance on this beach of St Cyrus, Scotland. We are just short of some teeth on the highest sea-serpents head here.

Enjoy large.

Excellent foreground subject Herb, the narrow DOF allowing some clarity in the near background as well.

A nice find Herb...............with a bit of imagination you can clearly see the two large male sea serpents fighting over the smaller female in the bottom RH corner!

Well observed and taken sir!

It doesn't really need much imagination either Keith. Glad you saw in this what we saw when passing it.

Ha ha, yes a big question there Malik. We wondered too, where they might have come from. Maybe Norway, across the North Sea here.

A little big for most sideboards but would make an interesting big garden feature. Thanks for another visit and observation.

Thanks Dave. It was a fantastic beach with lots of this flotsam wood about. Where it all came from beats me but it might have come down the nearby River Esk, which runs through woodland, in the floods a few years back. Either that or from across the North Sea -Norway? Glad you liked this.
