Vor dem HH-Rathaus stand auch ein W. I, allerdings schaute er in Richtung Rathaus, was einen
zeitgenössischen Beobachter zu der Anmerkung brachte. Daran erkenne man das republikanische Hamburg, denn normalerweise schauen die Herrscher vom Regierungssitz auf das Volk (herunter).
