Honor the miners

I have seen stained glass windows honoring saints and patrons, but never miners before I saw this window. There are approximately 240 stained glass windows in Basilique Ste-Anne-de-Beaupre in Canada. It has been the site of a shrine since the 17th century. Construction of the first bascilica was completed in 1876. It burned down and was rebuilt in 1922. AIMG_2079
