Pinetop Perkins

A blues piano icon, Joe Willie takes a break. Originally a guitarist, he took up blues and boogie piano following a "misunderstanding" involving a woman and a knife that resulted in severed tendons in his left arm. Touring until the end, he died in 2011. He was 97 years old.
