My Office Door Is Always Open (HFF)

My Office Door Is Always Open (HFF)
Open door Sunday Challenge. This "office" was a small building in one of the locks of the Panama Canal.

This 2018 transit was yet another Canal one for us (10 so far?), and it was made more interesting by torrential rains.

Berny, Martin H., Gudrun, Ecobird and 26 other people have particularly liked this photo

What worries me are the two containers on the roof - are they for making electricity?

Those are floodlights. I expect that anything that has to survive out in the extreme climate of Panama will show some wear.

Colours are like here, white with the blue stripe. The stripe is done to discourage insects.

"My Office Is Always Open."

But you can't come in because there's no room for two people.

Very intriguing little building!

Was there a toilet inside ?

Robert Swanson club has replied to Léopold club
No, but those are situated along the same area near the lock. I have a photo somewhere, I'll upload it. I call that photo "the smallest toilet in the world". These structures were, I believe, part of the original construction of the Canal system (1914).

You can see the occupant of the office through the right-side window. There seems to be no room for comfort facilities. See:
