(If this was on Instagram, it would be labelled #NoFilter ... and EXIF here says PicMonkey, but that is for inserting the Watermark.)

This is actually the owner of the masonry company. He said his crew of masons and laborers did not show up for work because of illness, pregnant wife, legal problems, etc etc ... so he thought he would just get a little work done himself.

This cell tower is about 10KM from my cottage. I saw that the utility company was working on the tower, and thought now maybe cell service and internet would be available ... but no, still in the dark.

"Buoys in Red & Dayglo Yellow" is pretty bland caption; how about "Hot Boys" instead? (yeah, the pun only works in English) ...

A fishery on the decline --- lobsters are migrating away from the Gulf of Maine due to global warming/climate change (the Gulf of Maine is warming faster than all nearby waters). The loss of import sales to China due to Trumpian tariff "wars" has a significant economic impact on Maine lobster industry's ability to operate profitably.
Canada profits from these changes. Ocean water is colder there; rules allow for harvest of smaller lobster; China is instead buying Canadian lobsters, and even if U.S. tariffs are ever lifted, there is no reason to revert back to U.S. sources.

Quoddy Bay Lobster Company wholesales and brokers fresh lobster sales to big Northeastern cities, as well as locally in Downeast Maine. An attached no-frills lunch counter prepares arguably one of the best lobster rolls in Maine (think 18cm piece of split-top French bread stuffed with roughly chopped lobster meat with a mayonnaise-based dressing).
