For this week's Sunday Challenge , which had the theme of indulgence .
Now, if I won the lottery my indulgences would certainly increase dramatically, but as it is (apart from my old Scirocco) I have few indulgences and those that I do have are fairly simple and common place ... most notably chocolate!
However, not just any chocolate. For me, when it comes to indulging myself it has to be Lindt LINDOR balls ... preferably from the fridge!
As they say on their website they make for the perfect blissful treat ...
"With a milk chocolate shell and an irresistibly smooth melting filling, once you've broken the shell the filling will start to melt, and so will you."

For this week's Sunday Challenge , which had the theme of diptych .
Taken from a series of shots I took last September and combined in Photoshop where I also applied some 'painterly' processing to finish it off.
Possibly best viewed large on black.

One of several that could best be described as being a 'nearly ran' for a recent Sunday Challenge , which had the theme of shadows .
As with my official entry this is based around a shot I took of an external metal staircase that was casting some interesting shadows onto the pebble dash rendering.

For this week's Sunday Challenge , which has the theme of shadows only .
Whilst passing a building in Northallerton I noticed that the external metal staircase was casting some interesting shadows onto the pebble dash rendering.
This is one of the shots then that I took that day. I must admit to having done some mild processing, mainly to try and create the impression that the shadow was being cast onto water.
Best viewed large for maximum effect.

Produced for this week's Sunday Challenge , which as you might expect had the theme of Halloween .
This is a shot I took of a Halloween costume purchased from our local Wilko store. Although the material looked rather cheap, well it did only cost me £5.00, I liked the mask and felt it offered some real potential for the challenge.
So I pinned it carefully to a large tree that stands at the bottom of our garden and took a few snaps before selecting this one to do some processing on. I played about with the levels etc. and added in the eyes using a mixture of PhotoShop and PaintShop Pro to create the final image you see here.
For those that are interested in such things you'll find a copy of the original shot in the Notes.
And all this goes to prove that ghosts do come out in the daylight ... they just wait for you in the shadows!
Please view large ... that's if you dare! ;)

Whilst we were out looking for a suitable subject for a recent Sunday Challenge I spotted this old donkey out grazing in a field by the side of the road on the outskirts of Topcliffe.
It looked so sad and lonely that I thought I'd stop and offer it some company. Sadly it wouldn't come to me, but I did manage to get a few distant shots of it and this is a reworking of one of the better ones.
I was happy enough with the original shot, which you can find in the Notes, but I thought he/she deserved some TLC so I've tried to do provide that with some 'painterly' editing.
Probably best viewed large on black ... here's hoping you guys like the end result?
