In this record shot of part of Irving, TX immediately north of DFW, the view SE along the John W Carpenter Freeway features the Dallas skyline in the distance. The tall building to the left is a Westin hotel and to the right of that is a Sheraton. Nearer the camera in an unexpectedly lonely looking location is the HQ of the American College of Emergency Physicians. This is a view from floor 12 of the Marriott DFW (North). 200_3_P1120339E

This very nice relief model with accompanying photographs, marks the 2003 centenary of Irving Texas. It can be found at the head of Main Street close to the railway station. It is of note that, in many places I have visited, an attractive work like this would have been vandalised. TZ70_P1010817C
