National Museum of Flight (1) - 31 July 2019

BAC One-Eleven G-AVMO National Museum of Flight, East Fortune. One of only three aircraft kept outside at East Fortune, former British Airways BAC One-Eleven G-AVMO is a particular delight to see in Landor livery. It is also great to be able to photograph an aircraft I did not photograph in service. 5300_DSC_1067CE

Classic Air Force (5) - 14 September 2013

The Classic Air Force, housed in the former Nimrod hangar at Newquay Airport (St Mawgan) preserves and, in some cases flies, numerous aircraft many of which were previously owned by Air Atlantique and displayed at Airbase Coventry. People regard many different aircraft as classics. The BAC 1-11 is a classic. ZH763 remains in QinetiQ colours, modified from the earlier RAE scheme. X20_DSCF2189C

The Classic Air Force, housed in the former Nimrod hangar at Newquay Airport (St Mawgan) preserves and, in some cases flies, numerous aircraft many of which were previously owned by Air Atlantique and displayed at Airbase Coventry. Rather than stick solely to standard aircraft portraits, I like to include in each set or series something less predictable. In this view, QinetiQ BAC 1-11 ZH763 is seen across the wing of Harrier XV753. X20_DSCF2192
