Living standard in Cambodia still is very poor. In the past two decades, Cambodia has gone through many major changes reflecting the heroic sacrifice of the Cambodian people to protect and to rebuild their homeland, the standard of their living, and the prosperity of their future. But Cambodia's per capita income is rapidly increasing but is still low compared to other countries in the region.
