Little Wattlebird, little fence

This Australian bird is a member of the Honeyeater family and is known as a Little Wattlebird. They eat nectar from flowers, but also insects and seeds. I was surprised when it made a nest in a wall-mounted hanging pot plant basket. Which also meant that the wires around the basket became a fence around the nest - almost certainly the smallest this week. Check the next two images in the PiPs, taken over several days later.
