inside the victorian porch a c14 archway and doors have been set into a blocked c12 archway cut into the saxon nave by the normans for a south aisle. the church is only open an hour or so some days; it took me 4 visits to get in, so check the website first.
a notice of hours in the porch would be a good idea; a local keyholder even better.
