Kingston Lacy House.
The chandelier is in the music hall and the organ pipes can be seen on the left in the picture below.
Kingston Lacy House ~ In the 17th century the Bankes family lived at Corfe Castle until its destruction at the end of the English Civil War (1642-1651). The family, who were supporters of King Charles I, found themselves on the losing side. Deprived of their castle, the family owned some 8000 acres of the surrounding Dorset countryside, including the Kingston Lacy Estate, which is where they moved to. It was their eldest son Ralph Bankes who built the present house between 1663 and 1665 as the location of their new family seat.
Kingston Lacy is the 'richest ever gift' to the National Trust. The 8,500-acre estate is part of the 16,000-acre Bankes estate that was bequeathed in 1981 by Henry John 'Ralph' Bankes, including all its content.

A gorgeous chandelier in the PiP.......which is perfectly exposed.........although I can't help thinking it reminds me of a certain scene involving Del Boy, Grandad and Rodney :-)))

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Keith Burton clubFunny you should mention that Keith! I did mention it to the volunteer in that room, and we did have a laugh about it. One of the funniest clips ever :-)) It was filmed in Clayesmore School, Iwerne Minster, near Shaftesbury. I only found that out recently!
