A couple of super pictures here. Love the pirate captain shot which is most life-like at this p.o.v and focusing. More boats on this harbour wall than we saw when last there. Unusual blue sky day for Whitby! Well done.

We didn't get to Scarborough when we were in the area, Rosa. The traffic was too intense. Just look at what have we missed? A very handsome fellow. ;-)

Stern but handsome Amelia ;-) I find September and October great months for a holiday.
Apart from the M1 we had no traffic problems going north. I liked Scarborough very much.
We had a great hotel and in a superb location.

Wonderful shots of sunny Scarborough Harbour Rosa, looking great in all that sunshine you brought with you! The PiP is a winner, both in the view and the use of the pier edge to give a nice depth to the scene. The 'Harbour Master' is a bit of a rogue, but cross his palm with a 'piece of eight' and you will be alright;-))

Oooh, he looks very impressive..............standing there proudly surveying his patch. What a lovely thing...........and you've captured him beautifully. I love the way you've used the depth of field to blur the background and make him stand out!

The PiP is excellent.................there is so much to look at and enjoy. I love the colourful houses and boats and the hill behind the town with the wall on top makes a very impressive background. Beautiful sunlight too.

I am very pleased you like the PiP. I tried to do the best for Scarborough :-)
It's the castle on the hill which I didn't have time to visit, with so many trips
but a good excuse to go back. We spent a long time watching the dolphins
just past the harbour.

Keeping a watch eye for smugglers and other misdemeanours !! a colourful water front scene.
Your appear to have changed something I normally get access denied on your pip's I clicked this one and it went to full scene, that is on a laptop and desk computer (both apple) I have never put ipernity on my phone, I have a small iPad I tried that'd it said the app needs updating I said ok and got the app is not available in the app store !!!! The wind didn't get to strong just a wet afternoon again. Good night Rosalyn

I haven't changed anything regarding the PiP's. Hovering over them on a laptop or static computer should always work, but on an i-pad or mobile phone, I know from my experience that you cannot see the actual PiP, so that is why I also place a picture beneath the main shot.

Estupenda serie; el pirata tomó protagonismo y el puerto de fondo. En el primer PiP es el puerto y sus embarcaciones las que centran la atención con muy buena resolución. En el PiP con el fuerte es una imagen considerable que abarca también los muelles y es muy completa.
